Cute little fawn Rupert
After she was hit by a car pregnant female deer, she had severe head, jaw and pelvic injuries. Sadly despite expert care, her injuries were too severe and she would not recover from them, and so the vet decided the kindest thing would be to put her to sleep. Mommy dog adopted little squirrel
It is not unusual for an animals orphaned infant of one species to be accepted by a litter of a completely different species. Such was the case with Finnegan the squirrel. Finnegan is the newborn squirrel which was found at the base of a tree somewhere near Renton. Finnegan was brought to the home of Debby Cantlon for care. Debby Cantlon plans to release Finnegan, the young squirrel back into the wild when they be ready for it.

Otters are relatively social but if you have never had the habit to keep an eye on your camera, this is the reason to start. When they catch a prey- in this case a camera, they eat it on the run if it is small enough. If they need to grip it while they eat it, they usually go to a log where they can sit and eat, but I think they will not like the taste : )

When pole survive
In a very schematic way, but with little chance for error, we can situate Pedro Motta’s work within this convergence between collecting and traveling; staying and leaving; permanence and transitoriness; place and thing; object and landscape.
The highway itself becomes the photographed subject by way of the documentation of construction works undertaken to alter its path or level, resulting in tall, isolated islands of earth. These monoliths bear the marks of the tools that created them, as well as the remains of their original characteristics, with posts and water tanks that persist on their tops, in an exhibition of the temporary that runs the risk of becoming permanent. More than other photos, these images make us question the manner in which Motta’s images approach the aesthetics of the document, only to deny this relationship. The idea of documentary is inefficient for describing the type of record that Motta makes, which would be closer to the ready-made, with an altered reading of reality. Even though in a quick glimpse these images can be confused with documentary records of the countryside, Motta’s approach to them is quite unlike that of a documentarist, as he actually photographs these fragments of earthen banks as monuments.
Shopping in color
For designers Marco Ugolini, the trip to the grocery store is something entirely different than just picking up stuff to eat. In his designer’s life, it’s a colorful trip where his imagination and the color palette in their mind are what make grocery shopping a full on adventure. What he does is fill that basket with only the same colored products – rearranging everyday items into minimalist blacks and whites, warm reds and yellows, greens and blues and more. It can be anything, as long as it matches the overall color pattern that’s going on in there. This project is entitled “Per Color.”
